Social Workers are at the lower end of the job satisfaction spectrum with a reported 39% satisfaction rate. Social workers must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and work to help people improve the quality of their lives. The average earnings are between $31,040 and $52,080, depending on the area of specialization.
Postal Workers may work on foot to deliver the mail, in Post Office service centers, or sort mail for delivery. Only 35% report job satisfaction with a median annual salary of $49,800.

Gas Station Attendants are at the bottom of the list with only 13% reporting job satisfaction. They may pump gas, check fluid levels in vehicles, and take cash payments. Their annual median wages are about $18,950 annually.
For the most part, it seems that high salaries go hand in hand with happiness on the job.
